With the Basic embossers, the cost of producing Braille is decreased to a level slightly above a quality laser printer. The user's options combined with the speed and record of reliability make the Basic S and Basic D the most competitively priced embossers available.
You control the Basic embossers with a front panel labeled both in ink and in Braille, that gives you voice confirmation of the keys pressed, thus making them the most user-friendly line of Braille embossers available.
The Basic embossers are able to produce graphics as well as regular Braille text with excellent durability and high speed.
The USB, Ethernet, parallel, and serial interfaces insure easy connection to your computer or network.

Basic D, a double-sided (interpoint) Braille embosser

The double-sided function reduces the cost of paper by 50%, and reduces the binding and mailing costs as well. 13 hardened hammers striking against 13 hardened steel anvils insure durability and excellent Braille quality at 340 pages per hour (or 100 characters per second).

Basic S, a single-sided Braille embosser

Is similar to Basic D, but available in a single-sided lower cost version. Embosses at 50 cps or 170 pages per hour.
