Enhance your travel experience and maintain your travel independence with the new BrailleNote GPS.

Out of the pages of sci-fi and into your BrailleNote, Global Positioning Technology is the ultimate tool for expanding and exploring your world.

What is GPS?

The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a network of 24 satellites used to pinpoint a position on earth. It is used to identify the location of anything from a courier van to a rare species of tortoise.

How does BrailleNote GPS work?

BrailleNote GPS uses the GPS satellites so you can receive announcements about your position and nearby points of interest, using a receiver about the size of a cell phone that plugs into your BrailleNote or VoiceNote. You can easily program personalized travel routes and favorite spots as well as use the thousands of points supplied with the system. BrailleNote GPS can tell you which direction to head in next, identify your favorite restaurant on the left (or right), whose driveway you are crossing, which end of the park you are standing in, the possibilities are endless.

What can BrailleNote GPS do for me?

By creating routes and adding points of interest you can use BrailleNote GPS to:

Here's what BrailleNote GPS users say:

"I love my GPS. I have learned to go place to place without any help from any one. For a blind person the GPS has given me a new life that I thought I lost when I was in Vietnam. It's a little minor things I need to learn but other than that I love this . I don't sit home a just thinking of Vietnam over and over again in my head. I am out and about trying to find a job now." J.G.

"I am having a blast learning to use my new GPS on my voice note. I already got messed up in some construction and it helped me find my direction. I wanted to ask you how to set a POI as a destination? I use the control-v to make it a temporary mark but I would like to set it as a destination before I go there. Thanks." T.B.
